Mass Participation Events is delighted to launch the Goodwood Duathlon, hosted at the world famous Goodwood Motor Circuit bordering the South Downs and the English Channel which has rightly earned the race meeting the title “Glorious Goodwood”.  The event offers a Classic Distance 10km run : 40km bike : 5km run Duathlon as well as a Half distance, 4km run : 20km bike : 4km, adjusted to include a full lap of the Circuit to the finish in front of the Jackie Stewart Pavilion.

Goodwood has been the home of sporting challenge for over six decades and boast some of the South Coasts most stunning countryside providing an ideal base for the run, bike, run event.  With permanent facilities on site for competitors and spectators we hope to build this into the country’s premier duathlon event.

The Motor Circuit has been restored to its 50’s & 60’s heyday when it hosted the greats of motorsport like Fangio, Moss and Stewart and even today it’s a venue that carries the ambience of sporting glories past and present.

Sparks is Goodwood Duathlon Official Charity

Sparks, the leading children’s medical research charity, will be the official charity of the Goodwood Duathlon, taking place at the Goodwood Motor Circuit, Chichester, West Sussex on Sunday 9th May 2010, and is supported by BBC TV presenter Kate Silverton.
